Columbia (23 August 1973)
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harder of Christie visited recently with William and
Georgeana Schulz. The Schulzes visited Mr. and Mrs. Bertie Schulz last week
Thursday evening. Satruday evening Bill and Georgeana visited Mr. and Mrs. Al
Mashin in Neillsville. Other visitors at the Mashin home were Ed Mashin of
Humbird and Mr. and Mrs. Al Wilson.
Mrs. Lawrence McDonell, daughter, Susan, and foster child Avedo Fitzpatrick,
returned to Milwaukee Tuesday after a stay of several days at their cottage on
Cherry Street. Mr. McDonell and son Dorrell drove here Saturday for the weekend.
Dorrell remained for a two week’s vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. David Bender of the Shortville area visited Mr. and Mrs. William
Sollberger Saturday forenoon.
Lester Brown, son Lester, Jr., and grandsons, Steve Brown and Mike Sherer, all
of Beloit, spent the weekend in Columbia.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leahy and children have returned to Milwaukee after a
vacation in our area.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hoesly of Marshfield visited the William Sollbergers Satruday
evening. The Sollbergers called on Mr. and Mrs. Edward Urban Sunday afternoon.
Stanley Krause of Chicago, who owns property here, visited Mr. and Mrs. George
Mashin Wednesday.
Tammy and Kristi Endel have returned to Johnson Creek after a week’s visit with
their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Endel. Their parents, the Patrick
Endels, dove here for them and spent the weekend.
Mr and Mrs. Ray Bulkowski of West Allis visited Mr. and Mrs. Endel Tuesday.
The Endels left Tuesday for a visit with friends at Bear Lake.
