Mantik, Bethel Ann (22 JUL 1967)

The marriage of Miss Bethel Ann Mantik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Mantik, and James Larry Niblett, rout 2, Chippewa Falls, Wis., took place Saturday, July 22, 1967, in a 2 p.m. ceremony at the Owen Missionary Alliance Church, before the Rev. Donald Filbeck.

Music during the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Donald Filbeck at the organ, and Mrs. Wilbur Mandigo, who sang "Together Life's Pathway We Tread" and "Be Thou Our Guide."

The bride who was given in marriage by her father, chose an empire A-line gown of white crepe over taffeta, with full length pointed sleeves. The fingertip veil was crowned with a simulated pearl orange blossom. Her wedding bouquet was fashioned of white carnations and red roses.

Serving the bride as maid of honor was Miss Rachel Mantik of Park Falls. Bridesmaids were Miss Patricia Mantik of Abbotsford, Miss Joan Mantik of Abbotsford, and Miss Patricia Niblett of Chippewa Falls.

They all wore mint green gowns of empire styled crepe over taffeta, followed by a chapel train attached at the shoulders. Full veils with crowns of Swiss braid rosettes completed their ensembles, and they carried boqueuts of white and green tinted carnations.

Tammie Venzke served as the miniature bride, and the ring bearer was Randall Mantik.

The best man for the wedding of his brother was Gerald Niblett of Ingleside, Ill. Groomsmen were Lary Schneider of Zion, Ill., Mike Radke of Ingleside, Ill., and Carl Niblett of Chippewa Falls. Seating the guests were David Jensen of Abbotsford and Dennis Use of Chippewa Falls.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Abbotsford High School cafeteria.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of the Abbotsford High School and she has been employed at the Mason Shoe Manufacturing Co.

Mr. Niblett is a 1965 graduate of the Chippewa Falls High School, and he is employed as a carpenter for the Day Construction Co. of Eau Claire. They will be making their home at 404 1/2 W. Elm, Chippewa Falls.

Guests attending came from California, Minneapolis, St. Paul, North Branch and White Bear Lake, all in Minnesota, Fargo, N.D., Bisbee, Ariz., Zion, Waukegan, East Moline and Ingleside, Ill., and Sturtevant, Wausau, Merrill, Ripon, Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Athens, Edgar, Madison, Park Falls, Marathon, Milan, Hamburg and Medford, Wis.
