Buss, Herbert (30 MAY 1894 – 5 AUG 1967)
Herbert Buss, 73, Colby, died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 5, 1967, of a heart
attack at 4 p.m., while shopping at Abbotsford.
Funeral services were held at the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby Tuesday, Aug. 8,
at 2 p.m., and burial was made in the Green Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Arthur
Rasch officiated at the services. Military rites were also conducted.
Mr. Buss was born in the town of Green Grove in Clark County, Wis., May 30,
1894. He was educated in local schools, and farmed his entire life in the town
of Green Grove, until moving to Colby in the fall of 1966. He was a veteran of
World War I and was a member of the Abbotsford Veterans of Foreign Wars and the
American Legion. He was never married.
He is survived by one sister, Martha Buss of Colby, and one niece and two
nephews. Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
