Hoffmann, George (2 AUG 1892 – 5 AUG 1967)

Funeral services for George Hoffmann, 75, Colby, were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby, on Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Mr. Hoffmann died at the Leahy Nursing Home at Abbotsford Saturday evening, Aug. 5, 1967.

Father John E. Olson officiated at the 10:30 a.m. service, and burial was made in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery. The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby was in charge of the arrangements.

George Hoffmann was born in Taylor County, Wis. Aug. 2, 1892. Mr. Hoffmann, who never married, lived in the town of Hull in Marathon County since 1900.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lambert (Clara) Schommer of Marshfield, and two brothers, Edward Hoffmann of San Diego, Calif. And Tony Hoffmann of Stratford.

Preceding him in death were two sisters and one brother.
