Butler (30 August 1973)
Visitors have been coming and going and some have been staying at the Arthur
Reineke home during the last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Enockson and son of
Palatine, Il, came Sunday; Enockson returned home, but Mrs. Enockson and Lynn
stayed for a longer visit. Mr. and mrs. Bill Reineke and children of Eau Claire
came for a short visit. Their children, Lisa and Jeff, stayed for a few days and
Mr. and Mrs. Reineke returned to Eau Claire. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Altmann and
family of Marshfield were there Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Altmann and Jay returned
home, but Mary Jo and Randy stayed until school started. Mr. and Mrs. James
Reineke and family of Milwaukee visited there Sunday, also.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ingham and granddaughters, Kelly and Karen Morris, of
Beloit, visited at the Charles Tieman home Tuesday. They returned home
Wednesday, accompanied by their son, Mark, who had been staying at the Tieman
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Kuehl of Ely, Mn, spent Wednesday at the home of his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Kuehl.
Miss Thelma Palmer left Monday on her return trip to Florida, where she will
resume teaching. She was accompanied to Black River Falls by Rev. and Mrs.
Harold Palmer and Mrs. Pirl Burrington.
Mrs. Victor Kuehl of Augusta came Tuesday to assist Mrs. Hugo Kuehl. They are
preparing to move into the Morgan Plaza at Thorp in November.
Rev. and Mrs. Le Roy Gross and family of Greenwood visited at the Palmer home
Monday evening.
Several relatives gathered at the Pirl Burrington home Sunday in honor of Mr.
Burrington’s birthday. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Burrington and
family of Albertville; Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Parent and Steven of Humbird; Mr and
Mrs. Ralph McIntyre and daughters, and Fred Burrington of Elk Mound; and Mrs.
Harold Palmer.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Deitsche and family of Milwaukee spent several days at the
John Kile home recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Curt Mayenschein visited Mrs. Lottie Morrison and Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Morrison in Willard Wednesday night.
Mrs. Bud Kile of Owen spent Several days at the john Kile home caring for her
garden produce.
Mr and Mrs. Arthur Morrison attended a reunion in Hillsboro Sunday. They were
accompanied by Mrs. Chester Daines.
