A new son, David Matthew, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Adam J. Skora of Greenwood on August 10, 1973, weighing ten pounds and ten ounces. David was born at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville. He goes home to five sisters and four brothers.

His grandparents live in Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wiech and Mrs. Mary Skora. His great-grandmother lives in the Thorp area, Mrs. Kate Novak.

Skora, David Matthew (Baptism - 1973)

David Matthew, the son of Adam and Kathleen Skora, was baptized August 19 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood by the Rev. L. A. Koopman. Godparents were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Plautz, Greenwood.

Dinner guests of the Skora’s were Rev. Koopman, the godparents and their children and the baby’s aunts, Miss Lana Wiech of Chicago and Mrs. Louis Lewan and son, Jim, of Thorp.
