Yanke, Evelyn (14 MAY 1914 – 10 AUG 1967)
Mrs. Vincent Yanke, 53, route 1, Colby, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield, and funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lulloff
Funeral Home at Colby.
The Rev. John Albrecht of Zion Lutheran Church of Stratford, officiated, and
burial was made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Evelyn Grossman was born May 14, 1914 at Salem, Wis. Her marriage to Vincent
Yanke took place Dec. 22, 1934, at Woodstock, Ill.
The couple lived at Burlington until they came to the Colby area 14 years ago.
They lived on a farm in the town of Frankfort.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Orville, of Colby, a brother,
Alvin Grossman of Burlington, and her mother, Mrs. Nellie Grossman, also of
Burlington.
