Beaumont, Myrna Marie (Peterson) (22 SEP 1939 - 25 JAN 2015)
Myrna Marie Beaumont, 75, Ogema, Town of Hill, died at her home on Sunday,
January 25, 2015.
She was born in Ogema on September 22, 1939, the daughter of Rudolf and Anna
Luella (Anderson) Peterson.
She was a 1957 graduate of the Prentice High School. She was married to George
Beaumont on September 28, 1957, in the First Lutheran Church in Prentice.
She was employed as Office Manager at the Holiday Inn in Wausau for a number of
years. Myrna and George returned to Price County to the Town of Hill in 1978
where they built their own home.
She was an active member of the First Lutheran Church of Ogema where her passion
was singing. In her free time she enjoyed flower gardening, knitting,
crocheting, and making maple syrup.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years 4 months, George; by three children,
Thomas Shawn, Ogema, Karen Marie DiPalma, Ogema, and Gerald Stephen (Rachel),
Catawba; and by six brothers and sisters, Harold (Patricia) Peterson, Wisconsin
Rapids, WI, Darlene (Don) Carney, Rice Lake, WI, Alice (Richard) Gucinski, Solon
Springs, WI, Joyce (Jim) Summers, Ogema, Charles Peterson, Menasha, WI, and
Gerald (Diane) Peterson, Marshfield, WI.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 30, at the First
Lutheran Church in Ogema with Pastor Robert Giese officiating. Friends may call
at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
