Donald O. Wiersig, son of Mrs. Walter Wiersig of Colby, was awarded a doctor of
philosophy degree in physics at Iowa State University at Ames, Ia.
His Ph. D was awarded in a summer graduation exercise at the school Aug. 25,
1967.
