Singstock, Roy N. (18 MAR 1918 – 1 SEP 1967)
Roy Singstock, 49, of Colby, died Friday morning at his home in the town of
Colby (Clark Co., Wis.). Cause of death was given as self-inflicted
asphyxiation.
Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 4, at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby,
with the Rev. Arthur Rasch officiating. Burial was made in St. Mary's Catholic
Cemetery, Colby.
Roy Nicholas Singstock was born at Dorchester March 18, 1918. He was educated in
Colby schools, and his marriage to Ermine Orth took place Oct. 17, 1946, at St.
Bernard's Rectory, Abbotsford.
He lived his entire life on the farm where he grew up in the town of Colby. He
was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the town of Green Grove.
Besides his wife, Mr. Singstock is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Ann) Loos,
route 1, Colby, and two sons, William and Daniel, at home.
His father, William Singstock of Unity also survives, as well as two sisters,
Mrs. Ted (Violet) Baumgart of Unity and Mrs. Otto (Florence) Zarnke of
Milwaukee.
