The marriage of Janet Diane Caldemeyer and William Raymond Gries has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Caldemeyer of Joplin, Mo., Mr. Gries' parents are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Gries of Colby.

The wedding took place Saturday, Aug. 26. 1967 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Joplin, in a ceremony performed by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Sylvester Bauer at 10:30 a.m.

The groom is pharmacist at University Hospitals, Madison. He received his pharmacy degree at the University of Wisconsin in 1963.

The bride had been teaching in an elementary school in Madison. She hold a music degree from the University of Wichita in Wichita, Kan.

The couple is making their home in Madison at 2210 LaFollette Av.
