Tesmer, Janice Kay (16 SEP 1967)

The marriage of Janice Kay Tesmer and Michael A. Commarato, both of Milwaukee, took place Saturday, Sept. 16, 1967, in an 11 a.m. ceremony at Gesu Catholic, Church, Milwaukee, before Father Patrick Walsh, S.J.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Junior E. Tesmer, Colby, and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Michael Commarato, Caldwell, N.J.

The bride appeared in an ivory satin gown as she was escorted down the aisle by her father. It was designed with a re-embroidered Alencon lace bodice, and the gown featured lace motifs, and a detachable train with motifs. Her lace headpiece was designed to match, and it held a two-tier shoulder veil.

She carried a colonial bouquet of red roses and white-pink carnations.

Her maid of honor, Miss Sharon Gutenberger of Burlington, wore a pomegranate red empire style dress with short sleeves. A bow was placed at the font of the A-line skirt, and a bow to match with a veil formed her headpiece. She carried a colonial bouquet of carnations and roses.

Dr. John Lech of West Allis was the best man for the couple. Performing the ushering duties were Dr. Louis H. Stocks III and James Lipo.

Following the ceremony, a reception and buffet were held at the Golden Lion Motel, Le Carousel, at Menomonee Falls. The bride, who attended Prospect Hall, Milwaukee, is employed at the office of Dr. William H. Frackelton, Dr. Jack L. Teasley and Dr. Donald M. Levy. The groom is a 1963 graduate of Rutgers University, where he was a member of Kappa Psi Fraternity. He is now completing his studies for a doctorate of philosophy in the department of pharmacology at Marquette University School of Medicine at Milwaukee.

Following a trip to Chicago, the couple will make their home in Milwaukee.
