Bayuk, Mr. and Mrs. William (Golden - 28 August 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. William Bayuk of Willard observed their Golden wedding anniversary last Tuesday by attending Mass at 8 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church, the Rev. Michael Mertens officiating. The Rev. Mertens gave a sermon especially for the occasion. Organist was their daughter Betty Bayuk. Soloists were her nieces, Theresa, Rose Mary and Janet Bayuk.

William Bayuk and Eleanor Zima were married at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Mn, with the Rev. Edwin Oman officiating, on August 28, 1948. After their marriage they lived on the farm near Willard, which still is their home.

They have seven children: James, a student at the Medical School in Madison; Carol, in Technical College at Madison; Mary Ellen, at St. Francis Hospital in La Crosse; Nina, in Eau Claire at the Wisconsin State University; Betty, Paul and Steven, at home.

The honored couple held a dinner at their home for members of the immediate family in observance of the occasion.
