Keuntjes, (Son) (Tragic Accident – 8 AUG1918)
Stevens Point – A boy of 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Keuntjes, town of Carson,
was pushed against a manure spreader in operation and he was carried to the
cylinder covered with four-inch spikes, four inches apart, which strike within
two inches of the floor of the machine. Though the boy’s body was penetrated a
score of times by the spikes, he will live. He was rushed to a Marshfield
hospital.
