Knorr, A.J. (Partnership Dissolved – 22 Aug 1918)

Knorr & Rausch after a partnership of a dozen years in the hardware and auto business dissolved partnership this week. Mr. Knorr will move to Neillsville within the next 30 days and take over the Knorr & Rausch Ford garage there and Mr. Rausch remains here and continues business at this stand.

H.E. Williams has purchased the A.J. Knorr home here on Main St. and it is expected that he and his family will move into same, just as Mr. Knorr and family vacate it in their more from here to Neillsville. The Knorr family is one of Granton’s best known and most highly respected families. Mr. Knorr has always been in business here, coming here and making a stand just as soon as Granton was on the map. Here he enjoyed the confidence and good will of all his neighbors and an ever widening circle of friends. It is with much regret that this village sees the Knorr family taking up residence elsewhere.
