Tioga (22 Aug 1918)
Ernie Dux and Miss Stella Humboldt spent a couple of days last week in
Neillsville.
Beulah McCune left Thursday for Waterloo, Ia., where she will teach in the high
school the coming term.
John Self autoed to Fairchild Friday.
Ernest Flick cut oats for W. Bedell Thursday.
W.E. Palms made a business trip to Greenwood Wednesday.
W.E. Church cut oats for Hans Hoganson Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Davis have returned to Laconite, Minnesota, where he will
resume his work at the ore mines.
Delia Church visited at Wightman’s and Phillips’ Sunday.
Mrs. Wm. Linster spent several days last week with the home folks.
R.D. Ingham spent Sunday at Willard.
W.E. Church has invested in four sheep and says he is going to have an all-wool
shirt.
Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Bedell and family spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. John Swanson.
Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Asplin and family called at John Swanson’s Sunday
afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hoganson entertained relatives from Blaire over Sunday.
