Diers, Linda (‘Who’s Who’ - 1973)
Miss Linda Diers, a 1973 graduate of Neillsville High School, has received
notification that she has been chosen for honorary award recognition and will
have her biography published in the seventh annual edition of ‘Who’s Who Among
American High School Students, 1972-73.’ She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Diers, Rt. 2 Neillsville.
Students selected for the award are junior and senior class members who have
demonstrated leadership in either, academics, achievement tests, athletics,
activities or community service. On a national basis, less than two percent of
the junior and senior class students are chosen for this recognition.
Miss Diers was valedictorian of her graduating class and was active in the
women’s chorus, forensics, Future Teacher’s association and the Latin club while
in high school. She has also been active in 4-H and attended the 4-H Citizenship
short course in Washington, D. C., this summer.
She is presently enrolled at the University of Wisconsin center at Marshfield
where she is majoring in music.
