Borman, Allen Glen (1 JUL 1951 - 6 MAR 2015)
Allen Glen Borman, 63, Medford, died on Friday, March 6 at his home. A
celebration of life in his honor will be held at a later date.
Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with
arrangements.
Allen Borman was born on July 1, 1951 in Medford to the late Glen Albin and
Idella Lorraine (Metz) Borman. He attended the University of Wisconsin-River
Falls and earned a bachelor's degree in liberal arts, majoring in English and
history.
In 1979, he married Carol Hirt, and they later divorced. He worked at Tombstone
Pizza the past 15 years.
He enjoyed visiting the library in Medford, reading, discussing politics, nature
photography, fishing, was a Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin
Badgers fan, and spending time with his family, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include two children, Chelsey (Brandon) Simon of Shepherdsville, Ky.,
and Ashley Borman of Clintonville; a brother, Jay Borman of Medford; a sister,
Lisa (Patrick) Porten of Medford; and two grandchildren, Brenna and Jameson
Simon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Borman.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Frances L. Simek Memorial
Library.
