Durst, Suzanne (Marriage - 8 September 1973)
Wedding vows were repeated Saturday, September 8, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church

at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony uniting the daughter of Mr. and Mr. Ivan Durst,

The bride wore an empire-waist gown of slipper-satin featured bands of lace, at
the hemline and at the wrist with a high neckline which was accented with pearl
beading. A full length veil completed her ensemble, which was enhanced by a
carnation bouquet.
Flowered dotted Swiss gowns with lilac background were worn by maid of honor
Carol Durst of Neillsville, the bride’s sister, and by bridesmaids Giselle
Fitzmaurice of Humbird, friend of the bride, Evelyn Quicker, sister of the
bride, and Linda Polzin, friend of the bride. They carried bouquets of lilac and
white carnations.
Serving as bestman was Glen Miller, Pittsville, friend of the groom. Groomsmen
were Buddy Eddy of Elkhorn, friend of the groom, Allen Durst, brother of the
bride, and Bill Wuethrich. Kenneth Durst, brother of the bride, and Gary Miller,
friend of the groom, seated guests.
A guitar duet was played by Johnette Vinton and Jeanie Morissette. D’Ann Kaufman
was the organist.
The couple greeted guests at a reception at the American Legion Hall.
