Levenhagen, Linda (Marriage - 15 September 1973)
An Owen-Withee school teacher, Miss Linda Levenhagen, became the bride of Eugene
Edward Turnquist, Rt. 3 Greenwood, in ceremonies performed Saturday, September
15, in Zion United Methodist Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Cletus Kramer officiated
at the 4 p.m. ceremony.]
The new Mrs. Turnquist was given in marriage by her father, Gordon Levenhagen,
Mishicot. Mr. and Mrs. Art Turnquist, Rt. 3, Greenwood, are the groom’s parents.
Capt. Carol M. Levenhagen, Ft. Sheridan, Il., was the bride’s honor attendant.
Bridesmaids were Sue Turnquist, Greenwood, and Nancy Levenhagen, Mishicot.
Serving as bestman was Herb Turnquist, Milwaukee. Leon Levenhagen, Mishicot, and
Wayne Turnquist, Eau Claire, were the groomsmen. Ushering duties were shared by
Ron Turnquist, West Allis, and Richard
Zuehl, Two Rivers.
Shelly Feldman, Owen, was the flower girl and Michael Miller, Onalaska, the
ringbearer.
Soloist Sandra Schneck was accompanied by Prof. Henry Euerbusch at the organ.
The Century Inn, Mishicot, was chosen for the wedding reception.
A graduate of Mishicot Community High School, the bride received a Bachelor of
Arts degree in music from Lakeland College. The groom graduated from Greenwood
High School and is engaged in farming.
