Lawrence, Verna (1911? – 1 FEB 1968)

Mrs. Verna Lawrence, 56, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), widow of Ross G. Lawrence, died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 1st, 1968, at the Luther Hospital. Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 5th in Eau Claire, the very Rev. Gordon E. Brant officiating. Burial was in the Lake View Cemetery.

Mrs. Lawrence was born in Chippewa Falls and lived in Thorp. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Owen, the O.E.S., Chapter 138 of Stanley, the American Legion Auxiliary of Thorp, and the White Shrine.

Mrs. Lawrence is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Reslock, Mrs. Charles Dorans, and Mrs. Walter Dreke, all of Eau Claire; one brother, Eugene Marx of Portland Oregon two step-sons, Roger Lawrence of Waukesha and C. Dean Lawrence of Watertown, and several nieces and nephews.
