Javorek, Caroline M. (6 JAN 1896 – 23 OCT 1967)
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 at St. Francis Xavier
Catholic Church in Knowlton for Mrs. Caroline Javorek. Rev. Emil Hodnik of
Abbotsford officiated, and burial took place in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Javorek died Oct. 23, 1967 at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.
Caroline M. Sutara was born in Slovakia Jan. 6, 1896, and came to the United
State in 1912, residing first in Milwaukee.
She was married in Milwaukee Jan. 10, 1914, to Blaze Javorek, who died in 1963.
In 1918 they settled in the town of Knowlton, where they farmed.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish and of the St. Frances Cabrine
Society.
Surviving her are two sons and nine daughter, Albert, Mosinee;, Edward, Owen;
Mrs. John (Mary) Prindes, Chicago; Mrs. Ben (Frances) Turowski, Mrs. George
(Ann) Ladrick and Mrs. Ray Helminski, all of Milwaukee; Miss Josephine Javorek,
Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Norbert (Helen) Goskowicz, Rochelle, Ill.; Mrs. Frank
Schoenfuss, Abbotsford; Mrs. David (Marcella) Touchett, Madison, and Mrs. Barney
(Silvia) Gronski, Bensonville, Ill.
