Mr. and Mrs. Allen McFarlane have moved from Greenwood into the former Nick
Crotzer home, while Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Kleckman and family have moved to
Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Stremikis, Jr., and family of Thorp moved into their new home
in the Town of Hendren.
Mrs. Joseph Bastian was called to White Plains, N.Y., by the death of her father
last week.
Friday night, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Rakovec and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Rakovec and other friends and neighbors of Mrs. Frank
Rakovec attended a surprise birthday party for her. A birthday cake, donated by
her children, centered the table, and was served with some refreshments.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jordan and Sheila of Port Washington, recently visited Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Bayuk and family.
Steve Hemersbach of Madison spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and mrs. Al
Hemersbach.
Mrs. Robert Gannon and children of Oconto were weekend guests of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Al Hemersbach.
Mr. and Mrs. John Govek of Medford, Miss Carol Govek of Eau Claire, William
Govek of Bloomington, Mn, where he attends a school of refrigeration, spent the
weekend at home with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Jr., and family and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hagen and
Peggy, of Neillsville, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Margie Hagen and Peggy of Neillsville visited Thursday with Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Pekol, Sr.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenko of Sheboygan visited Rose Stamcar and Mr. and Mrs. John
Stamcar recently.
Helen Karlic and Grace Maddente, both of Milwaukee, spent four days here with
Mr. and Mrs. Fritz Lehto.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Perko returned last Thursday to Davenport, Ia., after
vacationing here in their summer home.
Mrs. Wayne Reuter was dismissed from Memorial Hospital at Neillsville last
Wednesday.
Mrs. Ella Reuter of Marengo, Il., spent a week here with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne
Reuter and family. Visitors last week there also included Mr. and Mrs. Martin
Konkoski of Madison. She will visit relatives in Salt Lake City, Ut., and
Phoenix, Az.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich were weekend guests of Dr. and Mrs. James Ulesich
and family in Menomonie.
Mrs. Katherine Popovich was dismissed from a Marshfield hospital Wednesday.
Mrs. Lucille Lunka, Mrs. John Syth and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox have returned
from a bus tour to Washington, D.C.
