Luchterhand, Delia B. (14 JAN 1915 – 17 MAR 2015)
Delia Bernice Luchterhand, 100, passed away at Wells Nature View, Marshfield on
Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in
McMillan, WI at 11:00 am Saturday, March 21, 2015, with visitation beginning at
10:00 am. The Rev. Doug Westenberg will officiate. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Delia was born January 14, 1915 to James and Odelia (Altenburg) Tremelling in
Granton, Clark County, WI. She received her education in the Town of Lincoln and
the old McKinley High School in Marshfield. On October 20, 1937 she married
Ruben Luchterhand at St. Peter Lutheran Church in McMillan, WI with the Pastor
Carl Bast officiating. After their marriage, she farmed with her husband in the
Town of McMillan until they moved to Marshfield on May 1, 1974.
She was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church, Town of McMillan
where she was an officer of the Ladies Aid Society and served as a Sunday School
teacher.
She is survived by her children; Mary Ann (Tom) Todhunter, West Bend and Pastor
Lyle (Jean) Luchterhand, Hazelhurst, six grandchildren; Daniel (Marisue) Larkee,
Lisa (Randal) Kanitz, Pastor Stephen (Heidi) Luchterhand, Pastor Martin (Wendy)
Luchterhand, Amy Danke and Sally Schoultz, fifteen great grandchildren, nieces,
nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death her parents, husband of 67 years, siblings; Ada Punke,
Albert Tremelling and Lyman Tremelling.
Memorials may be made in memory of Delia Luchterhand to St. Peter Evangelical
Lutheran Church.
