Jensen, Bertha (4 December 1884 - 21 September 1973)
A Clark County native, Mrs. Bertha Jensen of Granton, died September 21 in
Neillsville at the age of 88.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Gilbertson Funeral Home
in Granton, with the Rev. Roland Roehrs of Zion Lutheran Church officiating.
Burial was in the Lynn Cemetery.
Mrs. Jensen, the former Bertha Garbush, was born December 4, 1884, in Clark
County. Her marriage to Henry Jensen, who preceded her in death on June 23 of
this year, took place September 26, 1906, in Marshfield. The couple lived on a
farm in the Town of Lynn until the early 1950s, when they moved to Granton.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Gladys) Steinbach of Granton, and by
three grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Roger Helm was the soloist and Mrs. Lee Garbisch, the organist, at the
services.
