Van Dam, Steve (Junior Kiwanian - 1973)

Officers for the 1973-74 organizational years and the October Junior Kiwanian were installed at the Monday evening meeting of the Neillsville Kiwanis Club. Gilbert Kuhn, English teacher at Neillsville High School, was a guest at the meeting.

The October Junior Kiwanian, Steve Van Dam, has participated in basketball four years, in football one year, and is a member of the National Honor Society, the ‘N’ club, the Pep club and of the annual staff. He ranks in the upper 20 percent of the senior class. Jerry Opelt was the installing Kiwanian.

New Officers were installed by H. H. Quicker. Elected and appointed in June, they are Leonard Chaltry, president; LaVern Mayer, vice president; Quicker, secretary-treasurer; and Dale Armitage, E. A. Georgas, Jerry Opelt, Tom Flynn, Lyle Aderhold, Bob Barth, Owen Haigh and Fred Kieser, member of the board of directors.
