Subke, Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Golden - 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke of Neillsville observed their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a dinner for over 200 guests followed by an afternoon open house and evening dance at the American Legion Hall.

Among those present for the occasion were the Subkes’ four children and their families, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke, Jr., of River Falls, Robert Subke of Hollywood, Ca, Mr. and Mrs. Martin (Dorothy) Kalina and family of Merrillan and Mr. and Mrs. John Subke and family of rural Neillsville, and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Elertson and son of Milwaukee, Miss Debra Subke of West Allis and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Subke of Neillsville.

Also in attendance were mrs. Subke’s brothers, Harold, Raymond and Cappie Weeks, and Mrs. Harold Weeks, of Everett, Wa., and her sister, Mrs. Agnes Schneider of Remus, Mi.

Friends and relatives were present as well from Eau Claire, Mt. Sterling, Prairie Du Chien, Cornell, Port Edwards, Delavan, Marshfield, Black River Falls, Phillips, Gays Mills, Wisconsin Rapids, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Mn, Columbus, Oh, Melrose, Il., Waukegan, Il., Mt. Prospect, Il., Hopkins, Mn, Des Plaines, Il., Fort Wayne, In., and Florida.
