Dobrowolski, Marcia (Marriage - 1973)

Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Walker are making their home in River Falls, having returned from a wedding trip to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Mrs. Walker, the former Miss Marcia Dobrowolski, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Dobrowolski of Chetek. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Walker of Humbird. The couple exchanged wedding vows in Chetek Lutheran Church before the Rev. Wallace A. Hunstad.

For her marriage, the former Miss Dobrowolski chose a gown of white organza and Schiffli embroidery styled with an empire, A-line silhouette and featuring a high neckline, bishop sleeves and a detachable train. A matching Camelot headpiece held her nylon illusion veil. She carried an arrangement of orange roses, white baby carnations and baby’s breath.

Cynthia Sarkis, Chicago, Il., was the bride’s honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Margie Staats of Sturgeon Bay, Janet Olson of Hixton and Sue Freiheit of Rochester, Mn. Their orange floral print gowns with green velvet ribbon trim were accented by green picture hats and bouquets of baby carnations and baby’s breath.

Serving as bestman was Ron Pair, Glendale, Az. Groomsmen were Dennis Thur of Bloomer, Burt Olson of Hixton and Duane Dobrowolski of Chicago, Il. Dennis Gehler, Sand Creek, and Kenny Bell, Kenosha, acted as ushers.

A reception was held at the Barron VFW Hall.
