Wolf, Raymond Edwin (6 MAY 1934 - 10 MAR 2015)
Raymond Edwin Wolf, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in Cody,
Wyoming.
Raymond was born May 6, 1934, to William and Hilda Wolf in the township of
Mayville, Clark County. He was educated in the Cleveland school and graduated
from Dorchester High School in 1952.
Ray worked for the Dorchester Furniture Factory until he enlisted in the US Navy
and served from 1956-1960 as a radar repairman, flying from Newfoundland to the
Azores.
After returning home, he worked for his dad. Ray then went to diesel mechanic
school and got a job as a mechanic at a Mack Garage near Sun Prairie. He retired
in 2001 and moved to Cody, Wyoming.
Ray enjoyed hunting and fishing and attending the EAA air shows in Oshkosh.
Ray is survived by his two brothers, Donald (Betty) Wolf of Dorchester and
Jerroll (Joy) Wolf of Cody, Wyoming; a brother-in-law, Daniel Zillmer of Black
River Falls; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judien Zillmer.
Graveside service was held on Saturday, March 14, at 1:30 pm, at the Dorchester
Memorial Cemetery. Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home assisted the family with
arrangements.
