Rininger, Marvin Paul (16 MAR 1938 - 20 MAR 2015)
Marvin Paul Rininger, 77, of Edgar, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on March
20, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Born March 16, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to Clarence and Doris Rininger, he lived most
of life in the central Wisconsin area.
Marvin is survived by his wife Linda of 25 years, daughters Sherri White, Polly
Becker, Kelly Humpal, Tammy (Mark) Henrichs, Beth (Don) Pachniak, Leslie
(Justin) Brown and son Mark (Sherry) Rininger, sisters Naomi (Wilbur) Borland,
Jean Meehan, Janet (Steve) Rutledge, brothers Harold (Louise) Rininger, Alan
Rininger, Dale (Sandy) Rininger, Philip (Ellen) Rininger, Gary (Lisa) Rininger
and loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended
family. Marvin was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather,
uncle and friend to all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Doris Rininger and brother,
Darrell
Rininger.
Marvin loved bowling and playing cards. He was an entrepreneur most of his life
and worked as a cashier at the Abbyland Truck Stop in Curtiss for the last 11
years until his retirement in January of this year. He enjoyed watching sports
and strongly believed in the virtue of being useful and working hard.
A special thank you to the SICU and Palliative Care Unit at St. Joseph’s
Hospital for their loving care and support. Also, thank you to First
Presbyterian Church of Abbotsford and Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home for all of
the arrangements.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of
Abbotsford on March 23, 2015 followed by the funeral services at 4:00pm. Marvin
will be cremated following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be
made in Marvin’s honor to the First Presbyterian Church, 305 W Elm Street,
Abbotsford, WI 54405.
