Mrs. Wm. Sulzback and daughter, Lisa, of Minneapolis visited the home of her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward LePage.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jensen of Dagmar, Mont arrived Monday to spend a week at the
home of his brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Jensen.
Mrs. Etna Giese is visiting the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hansen in Owen, and
her many friends in the area.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Andreasen and family were visitors Sunday at the home of her
brother, Mr. and Mrs. James Buchanan in Cadott.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Frost entertained Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost Sunday for
supper and evening in honor of Mrs. Kenneth Frost's birthday anniversary.
Miss Charlotte Engel of Milwaukee is spending a week's vacation at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Engel.
Steven Heuer will accompany Mr. Barclay to Arizona on Saturday. Then Steve will
continue on to Las Vegas, Nev., where he will be employed for the summer.
Out of town guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rabska, who came for the
confirmation of their son, Gregg on Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. John Davidson of
River Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carrier of Edgerton, Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Powers
of Prairie du Chien and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Rabska, Chippewa Falls.
Mrs. Ronald Auberg was admitted to Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley Sunday,
where she will receive medical treatment.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fredricks received news of the birth of a daughter, Ann Marie,
to their grandson and wife, Dr. And Mrs. Allen Zelm in Stoughton on May 15,
1965.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Capes will leave Friday for Cody, Wyo., where they will spend
several days visiting at the home of her sister.
Mr. and Mrs. Chris Christophersen and Mr. and Mrs. Gay Christophersen and family
enjoyed a weekend outing at Lake Holcombe, Sunday. They were joined by Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Blunck.
Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Missling in honor of their daughter
Helen's confirmation, were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Miller of Saukville, Mr. and Mrs.
Russell Loomis, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Hub Missling, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Hendricks, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rabska, Mr. and Mrs. Uno Baake, Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur LePage, Robert Missling, Black River Falls, and Mrs. Daniel Eagan.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nielsen spent Sunday visiting friends in Granton.
On Tuesday evening Mrs. James Poulter and Mrs. Richard Hazelton entertained
friends to a pre-nuptial shower at the Poulter home for Miss Louise Schultz, who
will be a bride on June 5, 1965.
Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Elmendorf of Seattle, Wash. left for their home on Sunday,
after spending a week at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Steager and
other relatives in the area.
Nine young people were confirmed in St. John's Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 23
by Pastor LeRoy Urman. Those taking vows were Gregg Rabska, Marilyn Rohland,
James Lentz, Nick Wirtala, John Larsen, James Schleifi, Warren Rhinehart,
Shirley Cardinal and Helen Missling.
Miss Louis Schultz visited the home of her parents at Reedsburg over the
weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Frost and family were guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen at their lake home at Mead Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Auberg were supper guests at the home of his brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Auberg, Saturday.
