Columbia (11 October 1973)

Mike Werderitch returned to his home in West Allis Sunday after spending a week in his recreation home here.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brillhart of Sharon spent last week in their cabin on Main Street.

Ben Larson, his daughter, Violet Williams, and her two daughters, Shirley and Nora, of Genoa City, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bohnhoff Saturday afternoon and evening. They attended a birthday party for Mr. Bohnhoff. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Winter of Pine Valley and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jurkiewicz also were present.

Mr. Larson and the Williamses visited Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger Sunday forenoon. Ben is a former Columbia resident.

Mr. and Mrs. Milford Tesmer and children of Neillsville spent a weekend recently on their acreage west of the Schulz farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vornholt of Neillsville visited the Schulzes recently.

Georgeana Schulz accompanied the Aspens on a trip to New Glarus and Monroe last week Thursday. In New Glarus they stopped at a factory which produces lace and embroidered materials. They observed a machine making 100 yards at a time.

Mrs. Al Mashin and Mrs. Viola Free of Neillsville visited Georgeana Schulz Friday afternoon.

Frank Nerad of Milwaukee spent the weekend here.

Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Endel spent several days recently with their sons and families, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Endel at Johnson Creek and the Michael Endels at Port Washington.

Saturday the Endels drove to Wisconsin Rapids, where they spent the day with friends.

Mrs. Ruby Yndogliato of Pine Valley and Mrs. Harvey Sherman of Altoona visited the Norbert Endels Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kolbrak of Altoona, who spent the weekend here, visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Bohnhoff Sunday forenoon.

Harvey Sherman of Altoona visited Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger Sunday evening.
