Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stevens of Spencer visited with their cousin, Mrs. William
Schmidtke, Friday afternoon.
Romadka homemakers were to meet Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Clarence Ganther.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger spent Sunday with their son and daughter-in-law,
the Rev. and Mrs. Dale Trimberger and family, in Marshfield. Their daughter,
Miss Elaine Trimberger of Menasha, was also a guest that day at the Dale
Trimberger home.
Granton homemakers are to meet Thursday, October 18, with Mrs. Arnold Garbisch.
Mr. and Mrs. David Anderson and daughter Donna, spent Sunday in Appleton where
they visited their daughter Miss Elaine Anderson, who is a nurse at Appleton
Memorial Hospital, and with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gary
Thiede.
Mrs. Celia Fulwiler of West Allis and Mrs. Milford Rowe called on Mrs. Vera
Hales last Monday. Mrs. Fulwiler and Mrs. Hales are cousins.
The York Center Community club is to meet for dinner October 17 with Mrs. Myrtie
Davis.
Guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm, the occasion being Mrs.
Helm’s birthday, were: Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Seefeldt of Melrose, Donald Helm of
Marion, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wenck of Woodstock, Il., Mr. and Mrs. Roger Helm and
family, Mrs. Gertrude Garbisch, Mrs. Elda Bartz, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Helm, Mrs.
Violet Spry and Mrs. Esther Schmidtke.
The Friendly Neighbors Club is to meet Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Albert
Lindow at Chili.
Mrs. Ethel Berg Was the guest of honor Friday evening at a birthday dinner held
at the home of Mrs. William Schmidtke. Others present were Miss Daphne Beeckler,
Miss Mabel Williams and Mrs. Lloyd Spry.
Veefkind Homemakers are to meet the evening of October 17 with Mrs. Erwin
Farnsworth. Mrs. Mary Ellen Sjolin, county extension home economist, will be a
guest at the meeting.
