Greenwood (11 October 1973)
Mrs. Don Warner accompanied her son, Harold (Dick) Warner, and family of Chetek,
to Milwaukee, where they visited her brother, Arnold Jackson and other relatives
for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. David Danielson spent a week visiting his brother, Peder Danielson
and family in Woodstock, Il., and with relatives in Blanchardville. They also
visited the Cave of Mounds, Villa Leus at Prairie du Chien, and took the River
road to Maiden Rock.
Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. William Kuester were Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stockmeier, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stockmeier and Mrs.
Elsie Kanter of Manitowoc.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Petrick arrived Wednesday from Hibbing, Mn, to spend the
week at the Simon Wehrman and Lloyd Peterson homes and with other friends. Mrs.
Petrick is the former Lucia Poole of Greenwood.
Mrs. William Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Kuester and children, Loretta Kuester
and Mrs. Douglas Luther, were Saturday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Wolk
in Stevens Point.
Mr. and Mrs. David Danielson returned Monday from Spooner, where they visited
her sister, Mrs. Erling Nelson and family.
Mrs. William Neville, Sr., of Neillsville was a guest Sunday at the Lawrence Cox
home.
George Humke, Walter Schwarze, and the Rev. Pacifico Camarin went to Sparta
Thursday, where they attended a meeting of the united Church of Christ
association.
The Tuesday 500 Club, met Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Edith Stafford.
Mrs. Myrtle Brown, Mrs. Leida Kurtzheim and Miss Angela Severs, returned to
Milwaukee Wednesday after spending the week at the home of their brother and
sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson, and with relatives in Unity.
The Bible Study group met Thursday morning at the home of Mrs. Elsie Halle in
Christie.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Stewart spent three days in Elroy and Hillsboro with
relatives and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hilmer Prestin in Richland Center.
Mrs. Glen Drew spent from Thursday until Monday with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Drew at
Viroqua. While there they toured Little Norway and the House on the Rock.
