Markowski, Delores E. (5 JUN 1965)
Nuptial vows were read at a 10 a.m. mass at Holy Rosary Church in Owen, on
Saturday, June 5, 1965, by the Rev. Hubert Crubel, for miss Delores Elizabeth
Markowski and Lawrence Bernard Wink. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Leo Markowski, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and the groom is the son of Albert Wink
Sr. of Thorp (Clark Co.).
Sister Theresa Marie played the organ for the ceremony and an all-girl choir
sang. Yellow chrysanthemums plants adorned the altar.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white floor length bridal
gown of Chantilly lace, with sequin trimmed Sabrina neckline. The bouffant skirt
of lace and tulle had tiers of ruffles in back. Her fingertip illusion veil was
secured to a crown of pearl and crystal and her bouquet was a lace fan
arrangement of red roses supported with loops of white satin ribbon.
Miss Margie Orzechowski, Chicago, Ill., was the maid of honor, with Miss Linda
Markowski, Owen and Mrs. Leo Ludwig, Milwaukee, the bridesmaids. They wore
powder blue floor length formals of silk organza with beaded trim on the bateau
neckline. The bell shaped skirts had Watteau panels accenting the back.
Each had a matching floral cluster headpiece with bouffant veil and they held
sunburst arrangements of blue tinted carnatiosn with garlands of white
carnations.
Albert Wink Jr., Thorp, served as best man. Ronald Cardinal and Don Hodorowski,
Milwaukee, were groomsmen, and George Welciek ushered.
The wedding reception was held at St. Hedwig's Hall in Thorp.
