Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Albert were among the 339 graduates to receive degrees on Sunday afternoon, June 6, 1965 at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. Mr. Albert received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in geography and a minor in philosophy. He was a member of Geography Club at the university the past two years, and was placed on the dean’s honor roll this semester.

Mrs. Albert received a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education, having obtained a major in English and a minor in history. She was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, an honorary society for English majors. She also was placed on the dean’s honor roll this last semester.

Mrs. Albert is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wilksman of Owen (Clark Co., Wis., and Mr. Albert is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Albert of Withee (Clark Co.). The couple has one son, Dean Harvey. Both Mr. and Mrs. Albert are 1961 graduates of the Owen-Withee High School.

The Owen Enterprise is sorry that an unintentional error appeared in the story appearing in its last issue pertaining to an "Area Couple Receiving Degrees at Eau Claire June 6th." 

The couple is Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Albert of Eau Claire.  She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wilksman, rural Owen, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Albert, Withee, not C.O. Albert, as was credited in the story.
