Larry Roberts left by buss Tuesday for Xalapa, Veracruz, Mex., where he will
attend the University of Veracruz. The group of Wisconsin and Michigan college
students will enjoy a visit to the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas, enroute. Six
days will be spent in Mexico City, visiting historical and educational points of
interest. While attending school the students will live in private home, where
they are required to speak Spanish and take an active part in the home life of
their host. Side trips to Pueblo and the Port of Veracruz are also included in
this trip. Before returning home August 15, the group will enjoy four days at
Acapulco, Mexico’s famous resort area.
Larry is the son of Mrs. Dorothy Roberts, and this fall will be a sophomore at
Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire.
