DeLuca, Patricia “Pat” B. (Trawicki) (1 MAR 1938 - 18 MAR 2015)

Patricia “Pat” B. DeLuca, 77, Wausau died Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born March 1, 1938, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Joseph and Delphine (Strasser) Trawicki. In 1986, she married John DeLuca in California and he preceded her in death in 1990.
Mrs. DeLuca’s family moved to the Edgar area in 1944. She attended St. John’s Grade School and Edgar High School.

Mrs. DeLuca attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing and worked at St. Mary’s Hospital before moving to Milwaukee where she also worked at a hospital. In 1965 she moved to Arleta, Calif., where she met her future husband, Johnny, and worked as a nurse in a hospital and at the Red Cross Blood Bank.

After their marriage in 1986, she worked with her husband in the bar and grill they owned. After Johnny’s death in 1990 she stayed in California until 1992, then returned to the Wausau area.

She enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking and watching cooking shows on TV.

Survivors include her sister, Delores Wadzinski, Wausau; and her brother, Donald (Bonnie) Trawicki, Tucson, AZ.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Trawicki.
A funeral Mass was held March 23 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Robert Streveler presided. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. John Catholic Church, Edgar or a charity of your choice.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau, handled the arrangements.
