Olson, Kathryn Magdelene (Schjoneman) (3 APR 1936 - 18 MAR 2015)
Kathryn Magdelene Olson, 78, passed away peacefully at House of the Dove,
Marshfield on Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
Honoring Kathryn's wishes, there will be no public memorial service. Any
memorials may be given, in Kathryn Olson's name, to the House of the Dove.
Kathryn was born April 3, 1936 in Unity, Wisconsin to Antone and Magdelene (Ven
Roy) Schjoneman.
She graduated from High School in 1955 and from St. Joseph's School of Nursing
in Marshfield in 1958. Over the next 40 years, she went on to work in many
different departments as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital. In 2000,
Kathryn retired from her last position as a Palliative Care Nurse where her
compassionate and caring ways touched the lives of many families. She spent her
entire life caring and giving to others. We were truly blessed to have her as an
angel here on earth and she will be deeply missed.
Kathryn married Clifford Olson in 1961, they later divorced. Kathryn enjoyed
spending time with family and especially watching her grandchildren growing up.
She enjoyed camping in earlier years, Sunday drives, going out for dinner,
reading and a good cup of coffee.
Kathryn is lovingly survived by three sons; Michael (Betty) Olson, Rozellville,
Marc (Karen) Olson, Auburndale and Donald (Rochelle) Olson, Nekoosa, eight
grandchildren; Heidi, Allysa, Adam and Cali, Devin, D.J., Raneisha (great
grandchildren; Ajia, Alayna and Zeke) and Rayanna, two brothers; Clinton (Nelda)
