Westboro native Major Terry (Ochodnicky) Whited recently retired from the Air
Force after 27 years of Service.
She is the daughter of the late Charles and MaryAnn Ochodnicky. She graduated
from Rib Lake High School in 1987 and enlisted in 1987 as a vehicle operations
specialist. In 1992 she cross-trained into the contracting career field. She
attained the rank of technical sergeant. In 2001, she graduated Magna Cum Laude
with a bachelor degree in business and in 2003 received a masters degree in
human resources as well receiving her commission from the officer training
school.
She deployed and supported numerous military operations including: Operation
Desert Shield/Storm (1990), Operation Allied Force - Kosovo (1999), Operation
Enduring Freedom Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan (2002, 2008, 2010), Operation Iraqi
Freedom - Iraq (2009) and Operation Noble Eagle - Afghanistan (2011). Major
Whited has over 27 years of distinguished service to her nation.
She retired on September 1, 2014, with the rank of Major and is currently
employed as the director of contracts for Madison Springfield.
She met her husband David, who was also an active duty Airman during their first
duty assignment at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. They were married in 1988
and have one son,
Devon. They continue to live and work in the Tampa area.
