Mrs. Edward Cholowinski and children left for Stevens Point and Milwaukee Friday
for a few days visit with relatives.
Mrs. John Haas, who had been ill at the home of her niece, Mrs. Wm. Pupp, for
the past few weeks, has returned to her home her. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wm.
Haas, is caring for her.
Miss Jessie Peterson, who is employed at Chippewa Falls, spent the week-end
visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Peterson.
The Catholic Ladies Aid will hold a food sale in the Boy Scout building
Saturday, March 28. Lunch will also be served.
Mrs. Mary Minshall of Westboro made a visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Minshall and D. H. Kelly Wednesday and Thursday while on her way home from a
visit with Mrs. McCumber, who is a patient at the Marshfield Hospital.
Reports are that the roads leading from town are now in good condition and may
be traveled over in safely.
Al Strebe made a trip to Greenwood Thursday morning, where he transacted
business.
Walter Jackson, H. J. Cornelius and Paul Waeck were Colby business callers the
early part of the week.
