Miessner, Kenneth Melvin (22 MAY 1945 - 28 MAR 2015)
Kenneth Melvin Miessner age 69 was born in Wausau on May 22, 1945 to Wilfred and
Margaret Miessner. He attended Strupp School in the Town of Wien for eight years
and graduated from Edgar High School in 1963. After graduation he went into
farming with his father. He later worked at the American Box Company in Wausau.
In 1985 Kenny met Vivian Tuttle. They were married on June 1, 1986. He then
became a loving stepfather to her two children, Tony and Tonya. Vivian passed
away on January 12th, 2005 and Kenny continued in his role as stepfather.
Although Kenny was living in Athens at the time of his death, he spent many
hours visiting with friends at Korner Kitchen in Edgar. Besides socializing he
enjoyed listening to country music and watching sports and old Westerns on T.V.
Kenny was a kind and gentle man who enjoyed helping others.
He is survived by his step son, Tony Villa (Angela Cooper) and their children
Taya and Antonio Villa of Burlington, WI; stepdaughter Tanya Villa and her three
children: Destiny, Courtney and Jadiamond Cobbs of Racine, WI; one sister Sharon
Miessner (Randall Juenemann) of La Farge, WI; four aunts: Selma Miessner of
Edgar, Gloria Miessner of Fish Creek, Patricia Miessner of Mancelona, MI and
Helen Berens of Wausau; along with multiple cousins and many special friends,
especially Paul Reinhart and Lloyd and Mary Schultz. Blessed be the memory of
Kenneth Melvin Miessner.
A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. John
Evangelical Lutheran Church (High Steeple Church, W1145 Huckleberry Street,
Edgar 54426, with a luncheon to follow. Rev. Jeffrey Lambrecht will officiate.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday from 10AM until time of
services at the church. A private committal will take place at a later date.
