Neillsville (18 October 1973)
Robert Subke left Friday for Hollywood, Ca., after spending some time with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke. Mrs. Subke’s sister, Mrs. Agnes Schneider, has
also returned to her home at Remus, Mi., after a two months’ visit with the
Subkes, who took her back to Remus.
Mrs. Minnie Stasiak spent three weeks recently with her daughter, Henrietta
Bernard, son-in-law and grandchildren in California. Mrs. Stasiak had a
wonderful time and arrived home October 7.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kieser and sons attended funeral services Saturday in
Ripon for her cousin, Harold Simson, who succumbed to a fatal heart attack
Wednesday morning.
George M. May was honored on his 80th birthday with a gathering at Bali Hai
supper club on Sunday, October 14. Twenty-two relatives and friends were in
attendance. Janet Davis of Chester, In., visited from Friday to Sunday at the
May home.
Neillsville Kiwanians and their wives held a steak fry Monday evening at Snyder
Park.
