Seaman, Bertha Maria #2 (17 JUL 1913 – 30 JUN 1965)
Funeral services were held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon, July 3, at the
Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, for Mrs. Milton Seaman. Rev. Beryl Knudsen
officiated, with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Seamans’ death
occurred at 11 a.m., June 30, 1965 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.
Born July 17, 1913 at Winton, Minn., the former Bertha Maria Nisula was united
in marriage on May 1, 1946 to Milton Seaman in a ceremony performed at Greenwood
(Clark Co., Wis.). Since then the couple have resided in the town of Longwood
(Clark Co.), where they farmed. She was an active parishioner in the Nazareth
Lutheran Church at Withee.
Mourning her passing are her husband, Milton; three children, two sons, John and
Richard, and a daughter, Carolyn, all at home; her father, John Nisula Sr.,
Owen, a sister, Mrs. George Wnukowski, rural Withee, and a brother, John Nisula
Jr., Greenwood.
Relatives from out of town here for the services were from Chisholm, Minn.;
Onalaska, Brentwood, Neillsville and Eau Claire.
