MacLaughlan, Martha (26 JUN 1965)
The marriage of Miss Martha MacLaughlan of McFarland, Wis. to Mr. Darryl R.
Nelson of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) took place at the McFarland Lutheran Church
on June 26, 1965 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at McFarland, Wis. The Rev. Burge
performed the ceremony, during which Bud Brewier sang "The Lord's Prayer" and
"Because."
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George MacLaughlan of McFarland, Wis.,
and the groom is the son of Mr. and Larry Nelson of Curtiss.
The bride was attired in a white lace ballerina length gown, crown with short
veil and carried a bouquet of red and white roses.
Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors of the
McFarland Lutheran Church, and that evening another reception was held at the
Curtiss Fire Hall in Curtiss.
The groom is employed as a cheesemaker helper at the Cloverhill Cheese Factory
at Curtiss. They will make their home in Abbotsford.
