Vanderhyden, Richard W. (? - 30 March 2015) With Flag
Richard W. VanderHyden, age 80 years, found peace on Monday, March 30, 2015. He
was the loving husband of 57 years to Sandra (nee Kropusek); proud father of
Cheryl (Richard), Cynthia (Anthony), Cathleen (Roger), Curtis (Tess) and Chad
(Tracey); cherished grandfather of Jacob, Ryan, Ericka, Nathan, Samantha, Cody
and Jackie; brother of Ann. Richard was preceded in death by his son, Ricky; and
grandson, Adam. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and
friends.
A Memorial Visitation was held Monday, April 6, 2015, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at
St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3100 W. Parnell Avenue Milwaukee. A Mass of
Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment and Military Honors followed
at Arlington Park Cemetery.
Richard was a United States Army veteran and retired after 30 years of service
from General Motors. He also enjoyed hunting. If desired, memorials to The
Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
