Mrs. Ina Hennlich has retired from a position she has held since 1934.
She is a graduate of the Abbotsford High School and attended Wis. State
University, Stevens Point, after which she taught for three years. She was
married to Anthony J. Hennlich of Dorchester (Clark Co. Wis.) and they are the
parents of three daughters.
Mrs. Hennlich has served as Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, organist,
choir leader and school clerk.
She was president of the Curtiss Homemaker's Club and Lutheran Church Society,
and secretary of the Curtiss Community Club. She is a past matron of the
Abbotsford Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and has served as district
director and county chairman of the National Association of Postmasters.
Mr. and Mrs. Hennlich plan to travel in retirement.
Herbert Fahrenbach assumed his duties as acting postmaster at Curtiss on July
31. He had served as substitute rural letter carrier since 1943.
