Maurina, Mr./Mrs. Edward (Gold – 24 MAY 1965)

Friends, neighbors and relatives were present at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Maurina Saturday, Aug. 7, 1965, honoring the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married May 24, 1915 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Milwaukee. They moved to Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1935, residing on their present farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurina have five sons and one daughter – Joh of Milwaukee, Frank at Waukesha, Louis in Hawaii, William of Barron, James at the Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester, and Mary of Phoenix, Ariz. There are 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

High mass was held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Saturday at 10 a.m., attended by the immediate family, following with a dinner at the Legion Hall and an “open house” at their farm.
