Hodnett, Henry (20 AUG 1919 – 15 AUG 1965)

Word was received here Tuesday of the death of Henry Hodnett, former Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, which occurred Sunday evening.

Hodnett lost his life when involved in an automobile accident near his home at Spring Grove, Ill. Death was instant.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen. The Rev. Beryl Knudsen, pastor of the Nazareth Luthern Church in Withee, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Riverside Cemetery at Withee.

Mr. Hodnett was born Aug. 20, 1919, at Withee, and received his education there. His marriage to Mary Sterns took place about 1945 in Illinois. They farmed south of Withee until three years ago when they moved to Spring Grove, Ill., where he was manager of the Fox Hill Riding Ranch.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lou Gale Hodnett, at home; a brother, Harold Hodnett, rural Withee; and four sisters, Mrs. Amos Toya, Eau Claire; Mrs. Vern Wiernack, Stanley; Mrs. George Spade, Stanley; and Mrs. Fred Biddle, Thorp.
