Zowal, Paul (1 MAY 1946 – 28 AUG 1965)

Funeral services for Paul Zowal, 19, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were conducted at three o’clock Monday afternoon from St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church, Owen. Fr. Richard Hewetson read the burial service, with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Bruce Johnson, Claude Hoeper, Matt Sameli?, Wm. Hoeper, Leonard Galarowicz and John Mikan.

The youth lost his life of injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred August 28, 1965 near Unity.

Born May 1, 1946 at Stanley the youth received his high school education in the school system here and at Abbotsford. He was employed at the Frederick Post Company for several months and at the time of his death was an employee of Will implement Company.

He recently enlisted in the U.S. Marines and was to have reported for service on the 15th of September.

His tragic death is mourned by his mother, Mrs. Mary Zowal, and a sister, Sandra, both of Owen.
